i'm not a very skillful good cook ( unlike my mother, who's a very very good cook ), when it comes to cooking, i feel like i'm just a part-time housewife. most of the time, i do very simple cooking, simple taste, and simple food.

axel and i went to a very nice and lovely zakka store ( for the first time ) some days ago, we picked up these neko ( cat ) shape chopstick rests, one looks like our kitty mori, the other looks like our kitty yama, make me smile every time i see them. and then, we also bought a rice bowl and a small size plate, they are all from 樹ノ音工房 ( kinooto ) in fukushima, japan

last week, on the very day that i was about to have my first ever wisdom tooth to be removed, i received a package from kyoto...

imaging how surprised i was, holding this very large package from keibunsha ( !!! ), my favorite bookstore in the whole universe ! ( actually i screamed and jump around after i opened the package )

turned out, my french man, axel, secretly ordered this beauuuuuuuuuutiful d-bros 2012 calendar called family, on keibunsha website a few weeks ago as a surprise gift ( which means no reasons ! )

( d-bros does wonderful designs ! )

and it magically made the dentist appointment seem not so scary to me...

a few days ago, i received this beauuutiful package from my dear tokyo girl friend, the lovelyhiki ( a ri ga to ! )

as you can see, hiki sent my some of the photo books and zine that she made

after meeting her in person during our tokyo trip, i can tell you, that hiki is as elegant and tasteful as her designs, photos, and the way that she handles her online shop orders

i feel so so so lucky to have meet such a lovely girl who is an ocean away

such a wonderful way to start the brand new month ! we had a brand new handmade small dining table in our mini size home ! delivered just passed midnight earlier today, by the creator herself, also our dear beloved friend, a-bao, not only she's a good carpenter ( which is just a small part of what she does for her works ), but she's also a very good photographer !!!!!!

it's raining so heavy outside, so i cooked some chinese style stewed chicken soup with lots of garlic, ginger slices, dried mushroom, dried conpoy, and the very sweet and soft taste not scary at all dried wolfberry ! it's time to take good care of our bodies !

i remember when i opened the package during my day shift at the cafe, i felt so so surprised and exciting and jumping and showing my friend what sandra has put in the box, and felt like i'm gonna burst into tears

it is so rare, for a friendship start as this, far far apart, a milky way apart, but yet so very close with hearts and thoughts
