my friend marine just came back from tokyo, and she brought me some omiyage ( souvenir ), one of them is the latest album " eyja " ( means island in icelandic ) of this lovely lady

i've been a such huge japanese manga fan since i was a kiddo, i can spend hours and hours reading over 20 volumes of manga even though i might already read them 30 times before ! i can't describe how great influence it has on me, not just my love for black and white drawing style, but in every way in my life

╱

i reember the first time i read solanin, i cried. and then the second time, and then the third time, and then and then

this is not a big story, it's just a small story about a girl, and the boy she loves, who plays in a band since they met

and the story of these young kids struggling in the cruel world, trying to grown up

i'm so sorry, i'm such a bad story teller ( there's more details in here, in chinese and japanese )

just wanna share this with you, because i can't believe this manga is on big screen now !!!!!!!

( yay ! )

this is an old japanese tv drama, it's one of my all time favorites

i adore the different styling of all these lovely girls and ladies and and also the scene settings, the story is about 7 different type of independent women searching for themselves and meanings of their life, and how precious friendship and companionship are

it gives me such nice and cheerful mood by just watching it, and somehow reminds me of mori girl ( forest girl )

and living in such an beautiful old wooden house like that is my dream

one fine day

two days before, we were awake for almost 24 hours no sleep, and axel finally ( and luckily ) got extension for his visa, we both felt so much relieved

and then, i slept for almost 24 hours ( no kidding ), missed a day, and then after i finally managed to got up from bed at 7 pm, i decided to take my man to a movie that he would like ( which turned out not very successful ), and then we took long walk to the cafe i work, which opened until 4 am, we had coffee, and lots of talks, about our new apartment, about our life in the near future, which is totally dreamy two years ago when he's still in paris, and me in taipei

life is so wonderful sometimes, isn't it ?
